How to Register on Sahel App

  1. Download Sahel from Official App Stores

    Download the official "Sahel" (سهل) app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Verify the publisher is the Central Agency for Information Technology (CAIT).

  2. Enter Your 12-Digit Civil ID Number

    Launch the app and enter your Civil ID number. Accept the terms and conditions and grant device notification permissions.

  3. Authorize via Hawiyati (Kuwait Mobile ID)

    Sahel will automatically trigger an authentication request to your Kuwait Mobile ID (Hawiyati) app. Open Hawiyati, approve the authentication with your face/PIN, and return to Sahel.

  4. Set Up Security PIN or Biometrics

    Configure a 6-digit access PIN or enable Face ID / fingerprint unlock to access Sahel instantly on future logins.

How to Switch Sahel App to English

By default, Sahel opens in Arabic. To navigate in English:

  1. Log in and tap on the Settings icon (الإعدادات) in the top or bottom navigation.
  2. Tap on Language (اللغة).
  3. Select English. The entire interface and menu tabs will immediately update.

How to Renew Civil ID on Sahel App

  1. Open Services Tab (خدمات)

    In the bottom navigation bar of Sahel, tap on "Services" (خدمات).

  2. Select Public Authority for Civil Information (الهيئة العامة للمعلومات المدنية)

    Scroll through the list of government ministries and select PACI.

  3. Choose Your Required Action

    Select Civil ID Renewal (تجديد البطاقة), Card Status Inquiry (استعلام عن حالة البطاقة), or Home Delivery Request (طلب توصيل البطاقة).

  4. Pay Fees via K-NET

    Complete any applicable renewal (5 KD) or home delivery (2 KD) fee directly through the integrated K-NET payment gateway.
