Why does PACI say "Data Not Found"?

You've just completed all your residency paperwork. You log into the PACI status checker, enter your 12-digit number, and see a red box: "Incorrect Data" or "Data Not Found". Stop panicking. You are likely just caught in the sync delay.

Top Reasons for the "Not Found" Error

1. The MOI to PACI Delay

Almost all renewals face this. Your Mandoob stamps the residency on Sunday, you check Monday morning. It says "Not Found". Wait until Tuesday afternoon. The databases run nightly batch syncs.

2. Using the Serial Number by Mistake

Many people mistakenly type the 10-digit serial number found on the back of the card instead of the 12-digit Civil ID number. The system will reject this unconditionally.

3. Final Exit / Cancellation

If your residency was officially canceled by an employer or you exited the country on a final departure, your Civil ID is purged from active inquiry systems.

Frequently Asked Questions

This usually means you are checking PACI immediately after your residency was stamped down at the Interior Ministry. The systems do not sync in real-time. Or, you typed a wrong number.
The automated sync process between the Ministry of Interior (Jawazat) and PACI typically takes 24 to 48 hours for renewals, and up to 5 days for new residencies.
Newborns will show "Not Found" until the official birth certificate information is manually keyed in at a PACI branch during the first registration appointment.
