Frequently Asked Questions
How long does "Under Process" status usually take?
Typically 2–10 working days. During peak periods (September, after Eid), it can take up to 3 weeks. If it exceeds 3 weeks, contact PACI directly.
Can I use my old Civil ID while the new one is under process?
If your old card hasn't expired, yes. If it has expired, use the Kuwait Mobile ID (Hawiyati) app as a legally valid digital alternative for most transactions.
Does "Under Process" mean my application might be rejected?
No. "Under Process" is a normal processing state. If there's a rejection, the status will explicitly show "Rejected" with a reason code.
