Keep Your Old Card Ready!
The courier driver operates under strict government instructions: No Old Card = No New Card. You must physically surrender your expired Civil ID to the driver in exchange for the new one. If you lost it, you must cancel the delivery and visit PACI with a police report.
How to Track Your Shipment
If you requested the 2 KD delivery service via the PACI portal, you can monitor its journey.
Via Tracking URL
Once your card is handed to the courier, you will receive an SMS containing a tracking link. Click it to view exactly where your card is in the delivery queue.
Via Call Center
If your card was supposedly dispatched but no SMS arrived within 2 days, call the delivery support hotline at 1889988 to launch a trace inquiry.
Frequently Asked Questions
How much does Civil ID delivery cost?
The official home delivery service costs 2 KD per card. If you are delivering multiple cards to the same address at once, each additional card costs an extra 0.25 KD.
What happens if I am not home when the courier arrives?
The driver will attempt to call you. If you miss the delivery, they will typically try one more time on another day. If it fails entirely, the card is returned to the PACI branch, and your 2 KD is unfortunately non-refundable.
Who can receive the card at my house?
Any adult present at the registered delivery address can receive the card, provided they hand over your old Civil ID to the delivery driver. The driver will not hand over the new card without taking the old one.
